Holds 8 ounces.
Dimensions & More Info
  • 8.75” diameter (22 cm) rim to rim, well is about 0.75"D (2 cm).
  • Holds 8 ounces (237 mL) of liquid.
  • Rich blue images on white porcelain.
  • Designed by Don Moyer and initially launched as his 44th Kickstarter project in 2019.
  • Produced using the in-glaze decoration process. That means the image is slightly melted into the surface like the fine porcelain you see in museums.
  • Remember, each bowl design is different—four different borders and images. The blues in this set of bowls will match each other. And, although they will look good with your other Calamityware dinner plates, the blues may be slightly different because they were fired at different times.
  • Made at the award-winning Kristoff porcelain workshop in Poland.

These porcelain pieces were fired at the Kristoff workshop in Valbrich, Poland, one of the oldest and grandest porcelain workshops in the world. Kristoff began making porcelain in 1831, and its work can be found in museums and in the palaces of royalty. Our porcelain designs are in-glaze, which means slightly melted into the surface of the piece, to ensure a beautiful crisp image for years to come. Photo by Porcelana Krzysztof Sp. z o.o.

            An addiction

Now have all the plates, pasta bowls, small plates, shallow bowls, side bowls, mugs (with big mugs to come) tiny plates and serving platers. An addiction I can’t control - this is used every day as my main flat ware. Why should art and humour be saved for walls or best. I love my flying monkeys

            Fun and beautiful bowls

My husband's initial reaction was that I had bought very traditional bowls. I told him to look harder. These are our favorite for pasta, rice dishes, desserts and other dishes where a shallow bowl works better than a plate.

            Quarantine Companions

These little monsters have made the eating lunch at home day after day after every single day time way more fun! Plus the smaller size helps keep our portions more sane. Love them so much!

            Calamity Dinnerware

I bought these as a gift for my grown daughter, who went on and on and on about how cool they were. We'll keep adding to her collection on special occasions.

            Wonderful! Beautiful! Creative!

My grandson and I love to dine. I’ve been collecting Calamityware through out 2019. He has a service of four now. I will continue to collect the dishes. Everyone loves them! They are beautiful! I need to pick up series 1&2 of the dinner plates, more mugs. I was delighted with the small bowls and plates offered in the kickoff. I love each dish being unique.

Eminently useful with a whimsical design!

I got these as a gift for my wife and am getting as much pleasure from using them as she is. They really are wonderful bowls for soup, stew, Chana Masala, basically anything you might want to enjoy out of a shallow bowl. We love the playful patterns and these really are functional, well made bowls. I have a feeling Calamityware will soon be invading and taking over the rest of our cabinet space.

Just what I was looking for

I love adding a touch of whimsy in every room of my house. These dishes fulfilled that wish. I like that they look traditional until you get closer and find that there’s more than you expected.
