Where it's made

These porcelain pieces are fired at the Kristoff workshop in Valbrich, Poland, one of the oldest and grandest porcelain workshops in the world. Kristoff has been making porcelain since 1831 and its work can be found in museums and in the palaces of royalty. Our porcelain designs are in-glaze, which means slightly melted into the surface of the piece, to ensure a beautiful crisp image for years to come. Photo by Porcelana Krzysztof Sp. z o.o.

nostalgia

My uncle passed away the day before Thanksgiving, from Covid. This bumped me to family Matriarch and inheritor of the Civil War era dining set, including a huge china cabinet. I have pieces from both sides of my family, and as I cleaned and arranged the china and crystal, I had two shelves left. I had never bought a full matching dinner service, and while the top shelves were my maternal great grandparents on down, the bottom two shelves were my paternal side, I wanted a pair of shelves that expressed who I was for future generations. As both of my families had some blue willow patterned pieces, this was Freaking Perfect. Traditional, but also strongly expressing who I am. Makes me happy every time I see them!

Best dish ware eve

I love my new dishes. It’s the best thing to come out of 2020 for me. Each piece brings a smile or chuckle as I scan it. I will be adding accessory pieces as I can. What an absolute delight to have found this unique company. Thank you so much

Disasters for everyday

I love these dishes! They came very quickly and were extremely well packed. It's such fun to pick which calamity to eat off of each meal. The kids enjoy finding all the little details included in the different designs and quite enjoy the flies and ants on the small plates and shallow bowls. I didn't think I would use the shallow bowls much, but it turns out they are some of the ones I use the most. A very versatile dish! These dishes have a nice heft in the hand and look lovely on the table. They are great, well-made dishes and I'm looking forward to any new lines that come out from this maker. They have a traditional Willow ware look with just the right amount of macabre quirkiness. We enjoy seeing which of our guests is observant enough to comment on the designs. Overall, very satisfied with our purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for something a little bit "odd."

Worth it

The dishes were well-packed and came without any flaws. Each of the plates in the series is different, with various disasters well represented. From a distance they look like your normal blue willowware, so you'll get reactions as people look more closely. The other items are more obvious, with ants / flies infesting the bottoms of bowls. These are great conversation items for small dinner parties.

Fun!

I got a set for Christmas and I love it!
The mugs are great because it has so many of the scenes.
Each dish has a great image. But I'm favorite is the small plate with the ants!
Thank you!
