The second set of Calamityware dinner plates in a discounted combination. Each porcelain dinner plate features a different calamity-- pillaging pirates, an active volcano, creeping tentacles, and a landscape-sucking vortex. Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.
The 4 most recent Calamityware plates (and future dinnerware projects) were produced at the award-winning Kristoff porcelain workshop in Poland. This change allowed for a shift from on-glaze to in-glaze production. In-glaze porcelain is fired at a higher temperate to allow the image to more smoothly integrate into the surface of the porcelain. Remember, all Calamityware plate designs are different—different borders, different images, and even slightly different blues—because the plates were produced on different continents at different times. They will look good together on your table or wall, but they won't be identical. If you are obsessive about matching, you should order multiple plates of the same design.
