Long ago, when our ancestors first developed ways to bring food home instead of eating everything where they found it, shopping was born. Huzzah! Soon, so-called civilization followed with all its benefits—farming, written languages, and snacks. As a tribute to that astonishing evolutionary advance, Don sketched a cheerful dinosaur shopper pushing a grocery cart containing a herbaceous shrub and turned it into the pattern that enlivens this grocery bag.

The bag is sturdy cotton that measures about 8” x 12” and stands 13” high, so it is big enough for gallons of milk, boxes or cereal, or sprigs of herbaceous shrubs. If you never shop for groceries, you can also use this bag to transport knitting projects, jigsaw puzzle boxes, gym shoes, or worse. The long handles may allow you to carry the bag on your shoulder, depending on the size of your biceps.

Color: Cream and two shades of primordial green. Silk screened. Washable.
