Calm amidst the maelstrom

I feel as though I have been let in on one of the great secrets of life, having purchased this tea cup and saucer set.

You won’t be able to see this in either of my photos, because I am an average human with two arms (one holding the camera), but I have found that holding a teacup and saucer keeps your darn hands out of trouble.

One of my sheroes, Hannah Gadsby, says that the sound of a teacup being placed back on its saucer is her favorite sound. I will attest that this sound does make one feel that everything is all right with the world for the moment.

We know that this is not necessarily true, but for the few minutes that it takes you to sip and enjoy your tea, possibly with cookies or banana bread occupying the generous rim of the saucer, you may also feel that this is so.

Today, when I opened my box of two, 8-ounce cups with saucers, and my box of extra saucers for some of my12-ounce cups, I truly felt like a bona fide grown-up. There will eventually be a fight in my family over who gets all of the Calamityware that I have collected so far.

Bonus: I do believe there are new characters on this little tea cup... I won’t spoil the surprise. The cat in the middle of the saucer is perfect.

Building a tea set

As an Englishman, I was appalled I didn't own a teacup and saucer. Since I started drinking tea in the womb, I thought I was long overdue. I purchased a two-piece set to try out, and I am delighted with them. I'm going to use this as a jumping off point as I work on building the full set. Teapot is next.

So Beautiful!

Teacup and saucers arrived! Hoorah! I adore the delicacy of the teacups at the same time their sturdiness. The cat is purr-rect sitting in the middle of the saucers. So happy to have supported this Kickstarter campaign. The teacups and saucers go so well with the rest of my Calamityware. Saving my pennies to afford a tea service set.

As an engineer, I was most impressed by the dish packing. Ingenious! As always, the dishes were impeccably packed.

Perfect

I am smiling so big when I opened my box from Calamityware the teacups snd saucers are perfect for me. I love the size. The saucers have the cat image in the middle, how much fun is this! The weight is very nice, not to light and not to heavy. I can’t wait to serve tea in these

The perfect gift for a cat-loving reader of tea leaves

Got these to see if they were nice enough to give to a friend who reads tea leaves. No matter what the leaves say, the cup is a reminder things could always be worse, right? These cups and saucers are beautiful.

Fabulous!

Another outstanding Calamityware product. I only drink tea (coffee is so pedestrain and yucky tasting) that I want my own cups and saucers. Family and friends know that only tea goes in those cups-smart people. Keep calm and keep drinking tea.

Awesome addition to my tea set

I don't think these were available when I bought my Calamity Ware tea set years ago. I just used small mugs. I'm a big tea fan so when I saw these I jumped on board. I've had a few afternoon teas with my family now and the cups are a big hit. Love them!

They were bought for a gift. I was very happy with the amount of time it took for processing, sending out and delivering. My sister was very very pleased with her gift and I plan on getting her the teapot next and then the sugar and creamer. Thank you for solving my gift giving and being so organized at your business.
