The casserole dish is absolutely beautiful. A balanced handle, too. I hesitated for like a year before buying this gem - foolish me. We are making vegetable lasagna with rando shaped homemade noodles this weekend. I cannot wait to test drive a baked casserole. In our family - if I get a new pair of shoes; my husband gets a new fishing pole...Oh those lowly underappreciated shoes.This time, his only casserole dish comment was: that's nice! I ordered the beast bowls for my beast: an 18 month old rescue mini Aussie who entered our lives without notice. She had been using my favorite ice cream bowl. When the bowls came I couldn't bring myself to let her have them. They're too cute! I wrapped them and put them under the tree--from her to me. My husband may suspect something, but I will never tell. And Gracie can keep the ice cream bowl.
