Countless books, comics, and films have celebrated the joys of space travel—hopping around the universe luxuriating in high-tech adventures. Poppycock! Space travel is awful—a dreadful blend of tedious and dangerous.
Because these books are little and easy to wrap, they make superb gifts. Share with friends who are contemplating a move or who are joining the space program. The book also makes a perfect housewarming gift for someone with a new home or apartment because it reminds them of all the problems they can avoid by staying home.
Hardcover book written and illustrated by Don Moyer. The size is 4.1" x 5.8" (105 mm x 148 mm). Forty-eight black and white pages plus color end sheets and a color dust jacket.
This book will make you smile more and even laugh out loud. You will use up oxygen telling all your friends to read it until they begin to avoid you which mimics the awful loneliness of space, but you will have this book to comfort you.
I threw a party and this one of the prizes that could be won. The guests had a great time perusing it and it ended up being one of the first prizes chosen.
My sweet family are all space nerds and this is just the ticket!
Good Money, spent well !!!
This mini-books from Calamityware have maximum impact.
Fun; a little absurb sometimes to help get the point across.
My wacky brain (and most of my friends) connect(s) with this humorously wonderful screed.
Got this for a science fiction fan, and it was a hit!
Contrary to all the books warnings about disasters and long waits, it arrived quite promptly and in excellent condition.
Stay Home! Funny pages and true pages mixed with too-true "I wish that was still funny" pages -- and I know they were hilarious when the book was penned! Intricately designed images of aliens always appreciated. I bought this copy for a young, naïve friend who is applying for Space Force. She'll love it! Thank you, Don and space cadets...
My three sons didn’t like that i purchased only one, and have been passing it back and forth since it came home. Delightful illustrations with always sound advice.... just don’t!!
Wonderful fun read!
I gave this to my nephew who wants to go into outer space. I hope it will convince him otherwise! (I like having him around.) Like all of the Calamityware products I’ve bought, it’s well made, intelligent, and a little gross. Oh, and funny! Very funny!!!
