These porcelain pieces were fired at the Kristoff workshop in Valbrich, Poland, one of the oldest and grandest porcelain workshops in the world. Kristoff began making porcelain in 1831, and its work can be found in museums and in the palaces of royalty. Our porcelain designs are in-glaze, which means slightly melted into the surface of the piece, to ensure a beautiful crisp image for years to come. Photo by Porcelana Krzysztof Sp. z o.o.

Terrific Troll Bowl

I loved the troll bowl when I saw it on kickstarter, but I was a little hesitant because of the price. I decided to buy one, and when it arrived on my doorstep on Christmas Eve I immediately knew I made the right choice. It's generously sized with a wide, flat bottom and tall sides. It's fun, but also feels fancy. I added a photo with an omnivore bowl inside for scale.

Love it!

It is a nice size bowl, perfect for serving. We had a small get-together and I used it for the salad. Got a lot of double takes when people noticed. I also love how it sounds when you ping it.

My Favorite Bowl

I discovered Calamityware years ago when I was looking to buy a teacup for my mother in law. She is very conservative and I really wanted her to have a cup where her ladies tea might be a little shocked upon further inspection of their teacups. When I saw the Troll Bowl show up on Kickstarter I immediately signed up. Sadly, when it showed up it was broken (I definitely cried). But the team was so quick to respond and about a week later my new bowl showed up and I was so excited. I will be on the hunt for opportunities to use this bowl and shock my guests in the future. I can't wait to collect more pieces! Beautiful, beautiful work!

Best Serving Bowl in my collection

Bowls arrived after delayed by west coast USA storms. Beautiful, big bowls perfect for serving. Making a batch of popcorn just for the pleasure of using this bowl. Fits well with my other Calamityware pieces. Nice weight, with that indefinable porcelain "delicacy" feel.

Happy Me

My Troll bowl makes me very happy. I have it in my pantry filled with fruit and every time I look at it from the kitchen I smile. The trolls are living the life running around the bowl making things happen and sharing the chaos – makes me want to join them.

Rock-n-Roll with the Troll Bowl!

I continue to add to my calamity collection for the past year or more. My most recent addition is the troll bowl. Aside from the dinosaur platter, I think this is my favorite piece! I have a large family so, I will probably order another one before Thanksgiving. I know it’s hard to pull the trigger on expensive “luxury” items but, you will not be disappointed! My only hardship is figuring out if I buy another troll bowl next or the Beast bowls?!?!

The perfect serving bowl!

After using this bowl for a while, it is even better than I expected! Perfect size and shape and hefty! And all of the adorable trolls have equally adorable curmudgeonous expressions as they go about their day! The bowl goes perfectly with of the other Calamityware pieces we have purchased! And it won't be our last!!
