Things could always be worse. Bigfoot could run off with the bagels. A pterodactyl could swipe the ptoast. Armed with my fabulous kitchen textiles, though, I am secure and protected!
I recently purchased the tea towels , the placements and the Dragon Cookie jar. They are all wonderful. The jar is classy and well made. The tea towels and placemats are excellent and my grand children and I sit and find our favorite terrors and compare the chaos they would cause.
We are huge fans of calamity ware. We drank the koolaid from our calamity mugs and decided not to leave the house after reading Stay Home the ugly truth about space travel. We framed the Alien cards that visit plant earth and are currently sure the one that came for fresh coffee is living in our shed. Anyway, get yourself some you won’t be sorry.
I love things could be worse and needed new mits. These are so well made and fun.
The placemats are great. The fabric is sturdy and lays flat. I loved it when guests sat down to the table and burst out laughing when they took a good look at the design! The friends I sent the dish towels to thought the design was “hilarious.” We all needed a lift!
It has pockets
These napkins are the only calamityware item that I’ve ordered that I would not purchase again or recommend (and I’ve bought a lot). IMO, they’re too small. I just spent way too much time looking up replacements for these and every option I can across was 20” square, not 18”.
I’ve been using cloth napkins nearly every day for about five years now. I’m fine with the work involved, but I draw the line at ironing them. 😬 And these napkins just do not hold up, the corners fold in, the hemmed edges crinkle, they’re just annoying, sadly.
See photos for comparison. The green ones were from Pier One Imports, I know they’re stained 🫣 that’s why I was replacing them. You can see the difference in how flat they lay and how they fold.
The pattern is fun, of course. And the material has not faded in the year+ I’ve had them.
Everyone LOVES the "Things could be worse" tea towels! They're soft, absorbent & makes everyone smile.
I gave 1 of my best friends a tea towel last year, so this year it was the napkins. He LOVES Calamity ware!
Every year I try to give a few of my clients 1 of your products. They Love the placemats!
Good quality and great pattern! Goes perfectly with my napkins!
