We expect the Vegeterribles Travel Mug to arrive in June, 2026.

The Vegeterribles design takes a closer look at the surrounding flora—which isn’t as innocent as it might seem. Dangerous plants have a long and distinguished history, from deadly nightshade and poison ivy to flytraps, triffids, and Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors.

The Vegeterribles Travel Mug is a subtle reminder that some calamities charge at you, while others quietly wait in the weeds.

Made of fine porcelain and designed to fit in a cup holder.

Comes with a slosh-resistant plastic lid with a silicone seal.

Holds 18 ounces.

Launched in 2026 as Don's 81st Kickstarter project.

• 18-ounce (532 mL) capacity to the tippy top, 6.5"H (16.5 cm)
• Carry the mug upright. The lid fits snug with a silicone seal and will prevent most irksome sloshes. But lid isn’t fully watertight. So you cannot just toss a full mug into your backpack without dire consequences.
• Not insulated. But thick walls hold heat longer if you pre-heat the mug by filling with hot water for a minute before dumping and then filling with hot coffee or tea. If your beverage gets cold during the journey, consider moving closer to your workplace.
• Porcelain, so no metal or plastic flavors imparted to your beverage. But the mug will probably break when your chauffeur drops it on the driveway or garage floor.
• Rich blue images on white porcelain.
  
• Produced using the in-glaze decoration process. That means the image is slightly melted into the surface like the fine porcelain you see in museums.

• Comes with a description card.

• Made by wizards in China, where they have been producing porcelain for 3,000 years. These wizards do a great job maintaining precise dimension, such as when a lid needs to fit correctly.
