Yay! My Calamityware Beer Stein arrived! It is gorgeous. I don't drink alcohol. I do need something to hold the wooden utensils which have been taking up drawer space. The Beer Stein looked perfect for that job. And it sits next to the Calamityware Cookie Jar, so the dragons on granola guard duty can sip their favorite beverages when I am not looking.
Calamity ware is a love/hate thing in my house. I love the zany designs my wife hates them. She opened the box that came yesterday and our daughter instagrammed the unboxing. Not going to post that. I on the other hand love the mug and have used it for many things already except beer. That’s tonight’s treat. Don’s creativity and imagination are literally baked into these steins and if you enjoy it, you’ll add this to your collection, even if they seem to mysteriously disappear up to the back of the top shelf.
It’s true! Drinking Guinness from this stein enhanced my moderate magical powers. I’m pretty certain it wasn’t just the pint of Guinness that made me feel more powerful than usual. I feel confident that the combination of these important icons: rampant dragons, a bat, a snack and a doohickey caused this surge of magic. Try it and report here.
I'm not sure you want a beer stein to be called 'adorable' but this truly is. It's an excellent size - not too huge as many steins are - and feels good in the hand. We've got and daily use many of Don's porcelain products: dinner plates (all of them), smaller plates, bowls, platters. It's nice to sit down to refreshingly amusing decoration every meal. Helps to keep things light in these dark times. The whole family loves them. The guests are always amused. The stein is a nice accompaniment.
This beer stein is my new favorite cup! The design is so fun, and I love the large size and bigger handle. It’s perfect for a cup of hot tea on the porch after work.
I got this mug and have been so busy trying it out, I haven't had time to go to work or do my chores.
We have a local pub that we love and they have a wall-o-friends where frequent fliers have stored steins. This one is going to be for my wife as soon as the pub waves its magical hands over our continued patronage and invites us to the wall. At present I'm hiding it from her so that I can surprise her with its awesomeness! Thanks Calamity and I hope that other patrons ask about it, buy one and then enjoy using it along with us!
Amazing! I think this design is my favorite thus far. This is the perfect mug to hold my liquids and snacks. It's hard not to gift this to EVERYONE.
I gave 2 steins as Christmas gifts. Both recipients LOVED them! They were a definite hit.
Perfect for beer or tea. Doesn’t tip, even when dogs jostle one's table. Unless they tip it all the way over, which would be a calamity, because one’s stein would break.
