Calamityware is a small, eight-person, one-dog company headquartered in Pittsburgh. We love bringing the darkly whimsical view of our founder and chief monster-maker, Don Moyer, to life. Our products are high quality, meticulously manufactured items that make wonderful gifts for you and other weird-adjacent people in your life. Our goal is to make you smile.
Fabric is just a little on the thin side, although construction appears sturdy. So I made a liner with a zipper pocket on one side, regular pocket on the other. Very simple sewing project since the bag is not gusseted. Might add a velcro or snap closure later as needed. NOW it's perfect !!! Great size, have other items in "Things could be worse" pattern. A real conversation starter when I take my tote bag out shopping :)
I love this tote! The fabric is quality as is the design printing. I plan to add my own contrasting lining with pockets so I can use it as an everyday bag. Very pleased!
These were just what I was looking for to give to some friends for Christmas!
I know they will enjoy them. The design always makes me smile!
Well made and a great little extra to bring along. I carry mine in my pocket or hand bag for those trips when you never know what you may come home with. The farmers market, the vintage store or just running into the store for a quick bag of treats. You’ll find yourself using this for so many things. Love it!
I carry it to the Art gallery when I work, it gets lots of complents!
Nice little bag for a short shopping trip; such as walking to the store for a quart of milk or a dozen eggs. Or a walk to the park with a book or sketch pad (as long as it is not a large sketch pad) and a few pencils or pens. The bag washed up nicely and is now residing with the remainder of my shopping bags, awaiting its first trip out into the wide world.
