These porcelain pieces are fired at the Kristoff workshop in Valbrich, Poland, one of the oldest and grandest porcelain workshops in the world. Kristoff has been making porcelain since 1831 and its work can be found in museums and in the palaces of royalty. Our porcelain designs are in-glaze, which means slightly melted into the surface of the piece, to ensure a beautiful crisp image for years to come. Photo by Porcelana Krzysztof Sp. z o.o.

I love these plates, because I don't like ants!
I took a photo of one after I'd used it, so it looked like I'd found an ant under the food ;-)
When will you be having ones with spiders?
I loved these plates from the first time I saw them on the website and just KNEW I had to send them to my daughter-in-law. We have the same sense of humor. She lives 400 miles away from me, so I was only able to be on the phone with her while she opened the box. I could hardly contain my excitement. When she finally saw a plate, she slowly whispered, "They've got ants on them." She couldn't wait to serve her family dinner on them. She posted pictures of the plates on facebook an said, "My mother-in-law gets me." She sent me a video of the kids discovering ants on their plates. It was hilarious! When I finally visited her and saw the plates in person, I was amazed at how real the ants look. What a great gift!
Use them every day and the ants still startle me.
Love your china! Very good quality and well worth the price. Love your sense of humour! Could you create small plates with locusts plagues please? Thanks!
Just like the bowl with the fly, these made me smile. I love my Calamity ware dishes. Recommend.
Love the plates. Actually love reading the reviews too. "Can you have plagues and locusts please?" Great stuff.
I don't think I'll tell my family at the next get together ... and let the surprise ants take hold. LOL. Can't wait. Love the plates!
These plates are the perfect size and the quality is great! I have so much fun with people when they discover the ants as they finish their food! I’m ready to buy the next fun design!
Perfect size for dessert, snacks, etc. High quality, images are sharp. Ants add the finishing touch!
Nana is sending matzo plates with ants for her grandchildren's seder service. She also has made place mats and napkins with flies. If she could only persuade Don, the Wizard, to create mugs with LOCUSTS all over them!
