I will not spoil the surprise. I will say that I own quite a bit of calamity ware. I will also say that this was a nice selection from across the board of items that are sold on the site. I am very happy. I think it was well worth the money and then some. 🙂
Welp, you always take a risk when you buy a mystery bundle, and for me it didn’t pay off as of the 4 “big ticket” items in the box, there was only 1 that I didn’t already possess. And in a fun twist of fate, the box contained a dupe of the one other item I purchased in the order … but as the boxes are all identical, all you can do is laugh at that. The remaining 5 items were totally meh and only 1 will ever maybe get used by me - but again, mystery box risk.
The big issue ai have is that the bundle is advertised as a $351 value, but when you do the math, it only adds up to $268 (given that everything is on sale! Not cool to base the valued at price at the non-sale price - it’s misleading) - I do feel kinda gypped there, even though it’s technically still more than the $200
Would I recommend this - for someone who doesn’t already own any “big ticket” items, sure. The ones I got I (mostly) enjoy but have no use for. But the 5 smaller items were (to me) not worth the price. maybe start with a lesser valued bundle, especially if you’re a long time fan and customer. At the end, I got 3 items (about $33) out of this bundle that I will use.
