Description

Once we reach a certain age, it seems like we need a little help to keep the Grim Reaper away. Perhaps a fierce and loyal hound for protection when the reaper peddles by. This t-shirt makes a great birthday gift for anyone turning an uncomfortably large age or as a congratulations for someone who got a good result from their colonoscopy. Not today, Mr. Reaper!

Printed on Bella+Canvas lightweight heather prism blue t-shirt (52% Airlume combed and ringspun cotton, 48% polyester).

Also available as a t-shirt in a unisex tee and hoodie.

Sizes & More Info

The design is printed using a vintage screen printing style which means the graphic will be lightweight and slightly transparent. The ink will sit proudly on top of the fabric but still has a fairly soft hand.

Screenprinted in Pittsburgh, PA, by Commonwealth Press.
Designed by Don Moyer.

Care
  • Turn it inside out.
  • Machine wash in warm water with garments of similar color.
  • Use only non-chlorine bleach, if needed.
  • Tumble dry low.
  • If you plan to wear it to a job interview or wedding, iron on medium setting.
  • Avoid ironing the graphics.
  • Do not dry clean. Use the money you save for a giant coffee.

100% cotton please

I wish you made this in all cotton. I love it but I can’t wear synthetics.

Everyone smiles at me when I wear this t-shirt!

LOVE this super soft and comfy t-shirt, especially the muted light blue color which looks good on old chicks like me...I'm 5'6" about 125 lbs and the Medium fits great...Washes great with no shrinkage...People smile at me when I wear this t-shirt, so I pretty much wear it everyday and everywhere - except jury duty, I didn't wear it to jury duty... Looks and feels great over a long-sleeve white t-shirt with the navy ROBOT UPRISING bandana!

Actually helpful in a calamity

Ok, so maybe the first time to wear this shirt wasn’t on a mountain bike ride. But it looked really good! And then...well, I can report that in an actual calamity this shirt can be quickly repurposed into a very effective sling. After a little surgical reconstruction, we will be ordering another one! Alas, the first was sacrificed in the making of the sling. Like all the products we have purchased from Calamity Ware it is awesome.

Fun and Comfy T

The ladies at the dentist office decided that the dog chasing Grim was probably named Covid. It’s a super fun shirt and everywhere I go wearing it, People laugh, give me a thumbs-up or smile big with their eyes (the masks, you know....). The shirt is well made, very washable and comfy. It’s my favorite shirt. Oh, I would love a zombie poodle mask, or a grim reaper being chased mask, if you get around to making something like stuff like that.

Wait, I'm 50?

Love everything about this t-shirt - the fabric is super soft and the shirt flares just a touch towards the bottom, which makes it extra comfy.
Of course the design is hilarious, perfect for a momentous birthday or even to wear on Halloween.

Comfort on multiple layers

Washed well, and is so soft. Bought it to wear to chemo. My dog got cancer and then I did, and at first my husband would bring her to pick me up from my appointments, but when she died after fighting so bravely, I bought this shirt to wear to keep my beloved hound by my side throughout the rest of my fight, metaphorically. It has stood up to more than a t-shirt should have to: tears, vomit, worse.

Love It

This shirt proves it’s good to have a dog, so the Grim Reaper gets chased away! (Those bones, so delicious!)

Heather blue fabric is very soft. Fun to wear!

The Millnenial loves it!

I bought this as a gift for my techie daughter. All I know is she wore it immediately. And cristened it "cool." That's what you get out of my Millenial, anyway. Which is high praise. It fit well, too.
