For the Win

I bought the tea set to congratulate my daughter on a promotion at work - she's a non-traditional, hipster-type, with a warped sense of humor, and when I found the mugs for Christmas, she was over the moon. The tea set was a natural. She loved them!
Don't tell her, but she'll be getting plates for her birthday this year...Please don't stop making these until I get them all! Seriously. Please don't stop.

Terrorized Tea

I love this set. It makes me smile every time I make a pot. When life’s vicissitudes weigh me down, I just make tea and remember how truly awful life could yet become so I’d better make the best of it. It also keeps me from being mistaken for a sweet little old lady.

Tea for Our Times

Since it would be vulgar to "commemorate" the coronavirus epidemic with labeled tchotchkes (in the manner, say, of a Coronation mug), the Calamityware Tea Set has my vote for the perfect souvenir of this dark time. With luck, we'll be pouring a cup and thinking that, indeed, things could have been worse. For the time being, this delightful perversion of the Willow pattern conjures an alternate universe in which the deadlies can be seen — from more than a social distance.

As a porcelain product, the Tea Set is all that could be desired: sturdy, capacious, and gleaming. It will fit in quite cunningly with any real Willow that you might already have. I've actually started "seeing things" in the traditional pattern.

It's a teapot

But it's the greatest teapot. I got it for my good friend who always wanted a real teapot and she adores it. She's also a big nerdy geek girl like me and I knew she'd love the classic look, craftsmanship and the silliness.
It was packaged very well and came to me timely and safely.
You should buy one.

Classy and fun

I found this through a Facebook ad and was dubious, showed my wife and she was instantly sold.

Order came very well packed and very quickly, everything perfect! The dishes are beautifully made, no flaws, good weight and a quality feel... all of which I was nervous about after pulling the trigger on the order.

Plus, we received a hand written card from the owner after the set arrived. It's like these guys still believe in customer service, or something!

The teapot is large enough for about a 4 (large) cup service. Excellent for practical use, beautiful for display on a table top or shelf. We bought these to round out our plate service and are thrilled with it.

If you think you'd like it, if you got far enough to be reading reviews, just buy it... you know you're going to anyway.

Perfect way to start the day

I use my Calamityware dishes every day (especially the dessert sized plates) but weekends are the best. I can use the teapot, too! Teapot is a great size for 4 casual tea drinkers or for 1 dedicated tea obsessive.

Prim, proper, hysterical

We gave the set of four mugs to several people for Christmas. As they unwrapped, they exclaimed "oh, how nice, how lovely, I know this pattern..." We then had to say look again, look closely! That's when the smiles and laughter happened. I bought the mug set for us as well (naturally) then decided to add the sugar/creamer to our collection. They are nicely sized, sturdy, stands up well to constant use and the dishwasher. We just think they're very quirky, funny and very unusual. We like them very much.

Love this set

I was happily surprised to receive this set as a gift over the holidays. I absolutely love it! It is a wonderful addition to my collection. Just like all of the pieces I have received, it is fun and quirky and so well made.

Great gift

I gave the full set as a gift to my roommate who aspires to a more civilized tea time. The humor and beautiful design of this tea set adds so much to our home and it makes us both smile every day. I'll have to get my own if I ever move out.
