A spot of T-C-B-W mug trivia

A spot of T-C-B-W mug trivia

Sure, a giant robot is bad, but a giant robot delivering bills is worse.

Take a close look at the pattern under the willow tree on one of your Things-Could-Be-Worse Mugs. Does that crackly-looking texture remind you of anything? I borrowed it from the pattern printed on the inside of the envelopes my health insurance bills come in. You’ve probably seen the same pattern in the envelopes your bills come in.

I have a collection of patterned bill envelopes. It seemed right to me that one of them should play a part in the design of the T-C-B-W Mug. I hope that now that you know the secret, you’ll experience an extra level of dread when you look at the design.

Don, you’re genius at sourcing motifs that instill a sense of dread. You’ve managed to raise humble bill paying envelopes print liner into a campy background land form. Truly dreadful! Indeed things could be worse! Thanks, just thanks……P.S. The new TCBW tea mugs in my possession are making everyday life life less dreadful, one sip at a time.
