Meet The Calamityware Cat.
While we don't have an official name for the Calamityware Cat that appears in our logo, she was heavily inspired by a Russian Blue cat that Don used to have named Koshka. You can find her in almost every Calamityware design, sometimes hiding, sometimes as the star. When she isn't gracing our designs with her presence, she enjoys napping, cuddling with Sasquatch, stalking Blobbert, and getting 3am zoomies.
Her Home Decor Style:
Like most cats, the Calamityware Cat loves a home full of soft, cozy fabric, big windows with natural light and views to birds and squirrels, and lots of house plants that she can chew on when mom isn't looking.
Her Color Palette:
She mostly sees in shades of white, black, and gray because of her special cat vision, but blue and yellow are two of the colors that she can actually see and tends to favor.
If her aesthetic reminds you of yourself, or someone you know, read on to see what we would recommend to match this style.
Cat Activities
Mr. Scribbles' Collection
The Mr. Scribbles' collection is a favorite of hers. There is a puzzle which she really enjoys "helping" assemble (batting the pieces off the table), an activity and coloring book which she wishes she had thumbs to make it easier to color in, and a gallery book filled with over 100 pages of Don's colorful cat art that may or may not give her aspirations of visiting the moon.
Cat Apparel
Stabby Tabby & Claim of Thrones
New to our collection of cat shirts, Stabby Tabby and Claim of Thrones designs are now available. The Calamityware Cat is particularly fond of the blue of the Stabby Tabby design and enjoys picturing herself as the Viking Shield Maiden she was destined to be.
Calamityware Cat
Her favorite shirts are the ones that contain her actual self-portrait. Just look how cute she looks? Available in red, army green, and black glow in the dark.
Porcelain Cats
Hiding in Your Soup
We at Calamityware cannot deny that adding the Calamityware Cat to anything and everything makes it at least 50 times cuter. She is in the bottom of the new Things Could Be Worse Bowls, the Cat Saucers, and is even in the bottom of the new casserole dish that is coming soon.
She can also be found hiding in almost every other porcelain design, and she cannot deny that she loves the attention of people unwrapping their porcelain for the first time and exclaiming "where is she, where is the cat?!"
We hope you found this style guide useful in curating your perfect home.
Sincerely,
The Cat and the Calamityware Team
