The design of these bowls features an array of mysterious omnivores from Don Moyer's sketchbook. And the explosive calamity that results if one eats EVERYTHING.
Set of four identical bowls to go with your Calamityware dinnerware. These deep bowls are great for cereal, chili, ice cream, snacks, and your favorite pho. Each Omnivore Bowl is 5.75" (14.6 cm) diameter at the top and stands 3" (8 cm) high. The Omnivore Bowl can hold more than 2 cups (0.47 L) with extra space left over for sloshing.
Rich blue image on white porcelain plates. Food safe. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. Produced at the award-winning Kristoff porcelain workshop in Poland using the in-glaze decoration process. That means the image is slightly melted into the surface like the fine porcelain you see in museums. Designed by Don Moyer and initially launched as a Kickstarter project in 2017.
Porcelain is both delicate and durable. We think you’ll enjoy Don’s blog about caring for your new treasures.
We have had our set about a year now and love them as much as the day they arrived--they are beautiful, durable, and a perfect shape. What could be better? Hmm... maybe a similarly shaped larger size SUPER DUPER BOWL! (hint, hint)
Christmas gift for my son and his family. They love their rice noodles and one bowl meals. My grandchildren enjoyed puzzling out just what calamity befell the omnivores. I'm sure they'll enjoy the bowls for years to come.
These bowls make my ice cream and corn flakes (not together, but maybe...) taste much better ;^)
Bought this set for my husband for Christmas. Yes, he found them to be silly and superb. They are perfect!
We use these bowls everyday. They are perfect for soup and cereal. We have only had them a few months so I don't know about these specific bowls durability but if they are like the other calamityware products, we have no concerns. I highly recommend them!
These are great bowls for all sorts of stuff. They look as awesome in-person as in the photos. Oatmeal, stew, etc. The size is perfect for a full meal of something hearty (like a stew), or for part of a meal. If you want a dinner salad these will be too small for that. I like the vertical sides, because they don't spill as easily and they're easier to drink straight from than more sloped sides.
Would love if a bigger (3-4cup) version came out sometime.
We are enjoying our bowls every day. They are fun, functional and easy to care for. The meal always ends with a crazy explosion. Would love to see this same shape in a smaller version, hint, hint.
I have the small plates (ants, bats, etc.) and find them a source of joy. Wonderful eclectic design. And they’re dishwasher safe. Truly my type of humor and utility.
I've been building my Calamityware collection since the first Kickstarter way back when, and I have to say, big bowls is something I knew I was lacking. And these fit the bill perfectly: just the right size for stew, pho, soup, or stir-fry. Plus they are the same high quality I have come to expect.
Just deep enough for a good serving. I love them. I may get more. No -- I will get more soon.
